Hi! I’m Erin, and as a Doctor of Natural and Functional Medicine, I take a holistic approach — seeing the whole person, not just a diagnosis. Every child is unique — physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually — and no two experience challenges like ADD or Autism in the same way. Your child’s care should reflect that.


Alongside my Functional Medicine practice, I’ve coached families through brain-training and developmental programs and I’ve seen firsthand how powerful it can be when Functional Medicine is integrated alongside these therapies. By supporting the gut, nutrition, sleep, and stress response, the body becomes more balanced — allowing the brain to function more clearly and other therapies to work more effectively.


Research shows a strong connection between gut health and brain function, and many children with Autism or ADD experience gut dysbiosis — an imbalance in the microbiome that can affect focus, mood, and behavior. That’s why Functional Medicine plays such an important role in supporting neurodevelopment — by identifying and addressing the root causes behind inflammation, nutrient deficiencies, and digestive imbalance.

SSP Sound Therapy

SSP (Safe and Sound Protocol)

The Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) is a listening-based intervention developed by Stephen Porges that uses specially filtered music to support nervous system regulation and improve the brain's ability to process sound and social communication cues. SSP is based on Polyvagal Theory and is designed to gently stimulate pathways of the vagus nerve involved in safety, connection, and regulation.


Many individuals with ADHD, autism, sensory processing challenges, anxiety, trauma, or auditory sensitivities experience difficulties filtering background noise, processing spoken language, regulating emotions, or remaining calm and engaged in daily activities. SSP helps "exercise" the auditory system and neural pathways involved in listening, communication, and regulation.
