Every child is beautifully unique. For kids with ADD, ADHD, or Autism Spectrum Disorders, challenges like stress, poor sleep, and gut imbalance can make it harder to focus and regulate emotions.
While programs like DeltaGenesis, Brain Balance, and occupational therapy focus on supporting brain development and function, Natural & Functional Wellness can work alongside them by supporting healthy lifestyle foundations through nutrition, digestion, and stress management. By helping you better understand your nutrition, lifestyle, and overall wellness needs, we can create a personalized wellness plan that complements the other support and therapies your family may be using.

Children with ADHD, autism, and other neurodevelopmental challenges may experience a wide range of physical and emotional symptoms. Natural & Functional Wellness looks at the whole child to explore factors that may be contributing to how they feel, function, learn, and regulate.
We can help explore concerns such as:

Hi! I’m Erin, I take a holistic approach to health— seeing the whole person, not just a diagnosis. Every person is unique — physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually — and no two experience challenges like ADD or Autism in the same way. Your child’s support should reflect that.
Alongside my Natural & Functional Wellness business, I’ve worked with a company and coached families through brain-training programs and I’ve seen firsthand how powerful it can be when Natural & Functional Wellness is integrated alongside these therapies. By supporting the gut, nutrition, sleep, and stress response, the body becomes more balanced — allowing the brain to function more clearly and other therapies to work more effectively.
Research shows a strong connection between gut health and brain function, and many children with Autism or ADD experience gut imbalance in the microbiome that can affect focus, mood, and behavior. That’s why a functional approach plays such an important role in supporting neurodevelopment — by identifying and supporting inflammation, nutrition, and digestive imbalance.
I also offer the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) — a gentle, evidence-based listening program that helps regulate the nervous system, reduce stress, and improve emotional connection and attention. When combined with Natural & Functional Wellness and brain-based programs, SSP can help children feel calmer, more connected, and ready to learn.
Your child’s personalized plan may include general nutrition education, supplement education, and other natural supports — all tailored to your family’s needs and goals.
By keeping appointments online and offering comprehensive intake systems, I’m able to make high-quality natural support more accessible and affordable for families everywhere.

RESTORE is a 6 month guided wellness program designed to support nervous system regulation in children and adults with ADHD, autism, sensory challenges, anxiety, and chronic stress. Using evidence-informed brain and body exercises, calming auditory programs, and practical lifestyle strategies, RESTORE helps promote improved regulation, resilience, focus, emotional balance, and overall well-being.
RESTORE works alongside a functional approach by addressing an often-overlooked piece of the wellness puzzle: the nervous system. While functional wellness focuses on identifying and addressing underlying factors such as nutrition, gut health, inflammation, nutrient deficiencies, and environmental stressors, RESTORE helps the brain and body better process and respond to those inputs.
When the nervous system is more regulated, many individuals find it easier to benefit from other interventions, support healthy stress responses, improve sleep, enhance emotional regulation, and build greater capacity for learning, connection, and daily life activities.
Together, RESTORE and functional wellness provide a whole-person approach that supports both the body's foundations and the nervous system's ability to thrive.
The Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) is a listening-based intervention developed by Stephen Porges that uses specially filtered music to support nervous system regulation and improve the brain's ability to process sound and social communication cues. SSP is based on Polyvagal Theory and is designed to gently stimulate pathways of the vagus nerve involved in safety, connection, and regulation.
Many individuals with ADHD, autism, sensory processing challenges, anxiety, or auditory sensitivities experience difficulties filtering background noise, processing spoken language, regulating emotions, or remaining calm and engaged in daily activities. SSP helps "exercise" the auditory system and neural pathways involved in listening, communication, and regulation.
As the nervous system becomes more regulated, individuals may experience improvements in auditory processing, attention, emotional regulation, social engagement, stress resilience, and overall feelings of calm and safety. Many families also report benefits such as reduced sound sensitivities, improved communication, better sleep, and greater ease with everyday activities.
SSP can be a valuable complement to functional consultations and other therapeutic approaches, helping create a stronger foundation for healing, learning, connection, and overall well-being.
